Request Authorization for Children to Participate in Arts and Entertainment

It allows entities that promote arts and entertainment to make a request to authorize the participation of children and young people up to the age of 16 in a show or other activity of a cultural, artistic or advertising nature, provided that such participation does not put their safety or health at risk.

Procedure

The entity that promotes arts and entertainment should request authorisation from the Commission for the Protection of Children and Young People (CPCJ) in the area of residence of the child or young person, by filling in the Request - Participation in cultural, artistic or advertising activities.

CPCJ will then communicate the authorization and its validity period to the requesting entity, the supervisory entity - Authority for the Work Conditions (ACT) -, the child's legal representatives and the educational establishment.

If there are changes in the school schedule, in the child's school performance or behaviour, the situation is reassessed by CPCJ, who can withdraw the authorisation.
