Cartão Jovem and Cartão Único do Portuário available on id.gov app
Cartão Jovem (European Youth Card) and Cartão Único do Portuário (Single Port Card) can now be added to the mobile application id.gov, the digital wallet that allows storage and access to documents issued by the Portuguese State.
By adding the European Youth Card to their digital wallet, young people aged 12 to 30 can present it in accommodations or cultural and sports events, for example, to access advantages and discounts in Portugal and Europe.
The Single Port Card in the id.gov app shows the list of ports to which the cardholder is authorized to enter.
Through the id.gov app it is possible to access the following documents and cards:
- Cartão de Cidadão (Citizen Card)
- Carta de condução (Driving License)
- Cartão da ADSE (ADSE Card)
- Cartão de Assistência na Doença aos Militares - ADM (Military personnel health assistance card)
- Cartão de Funcionário (Employee Card)
- Identificação digital da Defesa (Defense Identification Card)
- Cartão de Antigo Combatente (Former Combatant Card)
- Documento Único Automóvel - DUA (Single Automobile Document)
- Cartão Jovem (European Youth Card)
- Cartão Único do Portuário (Single Port Card).
In addition to consultation, id.gov.pt allows the sharing of document data, whose validation is done through a "QR code", available in the main menu. Digital documents have the same legal validity as physical documents.
