Death certificates now have permanent validity

As of September 1st, death certificates no longer have an expiration date. It will be possible to consult the information, permanently updated, with no time limit. 

Online death certificates that are valid on September 1 will also be permanently valid.

The other online civil registration certificates (birth, marriage, maternity and childbirth) will remain valid for six months after the date of issue. To consult any certificate online, you need to use the access code that is given when you make the request.

Cheaper property information
Also as of September 1, requesting digital access to simplified land information online will cost one euro per building, instead of the current six euros. 

These measures are part of the strategy to simplify and facilitate access to registry services.
