Subsídios de desemprego prolongados por mais 6 meses

All unemployment benefits ending during the year 2021 are, exceptionally, extended for a further 6 months.

This process of extending unemployment benefit will be done automatically from February onwards. Thus, people who are unemployed and whose benefits end during the month of January will receive the days missing from January together with the February benefit.

From February onwards, unemployment benefit will normally be paid for another 6 months after the expected end date.
