Almeirim opens Mobile Citizen Spot and Mobile Library

The municipality of Almeirim will have a car that will serve as a Mobile Citizen Spot and a travelling library. The project, which aims to bring public services closer to citizens and take library resources to places where there is no physical library, was inaugurated on 4 November and will start operating on 7 November.

In the Almeirim Mobile Citizen Spot several services will be available, such as renovation of the Citizen Card, change of address in the Citizen Card, application for the certificate of criminal record, among others. The payment of the services is only possible through ATM.

The project will pass through several locations in the municipality of Almeirim: in Tapada and Raposa, the trip is scheduled for the 1st Saturday of the month, in Azeitada, Benfica do Ribatejo, Cortiçóis and Foros de Benfica, for the 3rd Saturday of the month. In the localities of Paço dos Negros and Marianos, the meeting is scheduled for the 4th Saturday of the month.

This is a partnership between the Administrative Modernization Agency and the City Council of Almeirim.
