Report a minor repair of a simple pressure vessel (SPV) or pressure equipment (PE)
No later than 15 days after inspecting a minor repair of a simple pressure vessel (SPV) or pressure equipment (PE), the entity (body) that carried out the inspection must notify the Portuguese Quality Institute (IPQ) of that inspection. The IPQ will then check whether the SPV or PE is still safe for use.
The communication is submitted online and is free of charge.
Minor repairs are defined in Article 17 of the Regulation on the installation and operation of SPVs and PE.
