Hydrographic surveying #8211 cessation of activity
Any cessation of activities in the hydrographic surveying field must be reported to the Hydrographic Institute [Instituto Hidrográfico].

Procedure
- Completion and submission of the form for the cessation of hydrographic surveying activities via the ePortugal portal.
- After submitting the form, the applicant will receive an email confirming that the application has been sent.
- The Hydrographic Institute receives and examines the application within 10 working days.
- If all the mandatory parts of the form are filled in, the Hydrographic Institute will notify the applicant by email and delete the applicant’s entity from the list of entities that have communicated that they carry out such an activity.
- If there are any errors in the application, the Hydrographic Institute will send an email asking the applicant to respond within 10 working days.
- If the applicant responds within 10 working days, the procedure will be resumed from point 3. If the applicant does not reply within the time limit or fails to provide the missing information, the Hydrographic Institute will not consider the notice of cessation and will inform the applicant of this.
