Contraordenações are infractions to the Portuguese Highway Code, classified in three types: leves (light), graves (serious) and muito graves (very serious).
The Driver's Desk application, available on ePortugal, allows you to consult your history of administrative offenses, among others.
You will not be able to see contraordenações leves of prohibited, improper or abusive parking that you have committed from November 2018. To view these infractions, you should contact the competent authority in the municipality where they occurred.
At the Driver's Desk, you will not be able to view crimes rodoviários (road crimes) you may have committed. This information is only available on the Portal de Contraordenações Rodoviárias.

What are the documents and requirements to view the record of ‘contraordenações’ (traffic offences)?
Online
To view the record of contraordenações, you need to authenticate yourself on the Driver's Desk or on the Portal de Contraordenações Rodoviárias.
Authentication on these platforms can be done with:
- Digital Mobile Key (CMD)
- Portuguese Citizen Card
- Portuguese Tax Identification Number (NIF) and password - only at the Portal de Contraordenações Rodoviárias for registered users.

At a service desk
Citizen Spot - you will need your Citizen Card or Digital Mobile Key.

- Authorise access to your personal data.
On the Portal de Contraordenações Rodoviárias
- Log in to the Portal de Contraordenações Rodoviárias
- Select the Cadastro menu
- Choose Consulta de cadastro.
NB: At the Driver's Desk, you will not be able to view any road crimes you may have committed. This information is only available on the Portal de Contraordenações Rodoviárias.
At a service desk
Go to a Citizen Spot, where an assistant will help you check your history of traffic offenses online.
Some GNR (National Guard) and PSP (Police) stations give information on traffic offences. See the list of these locations on the Autoridade Nacional da Segurança Rodoviária (ANSR) portal.
