Animal feed – amendment of authorisation to distribute medicated feed and intermediate products
All changes to the conditions of authorisation (registered office, company name, technical director) must be notified to the National Authority for Animal Health (DGAV).

The alteration of the authorization when it concerns the Quality Manager, the document proving the academic qualifications and the respective declaration of responsibility is required (Mod. 558 AM/DGAV - RQ).
Procedure
You will need to authenticate using one of the following methods:
- Citizen Card;
- Digital Mobile Key;
- a lawyer, solicitor or notary’s Digital Certificate.
Once you have your chosen means of authentication to hand, follow these steps:
- Click on the ‘Access the service’ button on this page.
- Complete the online form and attach the necessary documents.
- Submit your application.
Examination of the application
- The form and the documents will be examined by a member of staff.
- If everything is order, the authorisation will be granted.
- If there are any errors, you will be asked for further information or to correct the documents. Once the applicant has provided this information, a new examination is conducted to ensure everything is correct.
How much
An application for a change in the authorization to dispense medicated feed may cost €400, if the change requires a visit to the establishment.
Validity
The authorisation does not expire, provided that the legal requirements are complied with. The business activity may be suspended or shut down in the event of non-compliance.
