How recruiting employees in Portugal?

  1. If the company is headquartered or established in Portugal

You may contact the IEFP online or in person.

Online

  1. Access the iefponline portal.

If you are already signed in on the portal, use your access data.

If you are not signed in on the portal, sign in or use one of the following authentication methods:

  • the access data to the Direct Social Security
  • the Citizen Card, PIN codes and card reader
  • the Digital Mobile Key.
  1. To register the job offers for which you seek employees, access “Employer > Submit an Offer” and define:
  • the position and the duties
  • the profile of the employee you are seeking
  • the conditions offered.
  1. To search for employees registered on the IEFP, go to “Employe > Find Employees”.

You may search by geographic area, profession or professional area. If you prefer, you may search by words related to the tasks for which you seek an employee.

Go to an employment service of the IEFP network and request support for the recruitment and selection of employees.

If the company is not headquartered or established in Portugal

To recruit employees, you must send an email to the IEFP.

You must send the email to:

  • eures@iefp.ptif the company is headquartered or established on a European Union country, in Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein or Switzerland.
  • emco-colocacaoexterna@iefp.pt if the company is headquartered or established in another country.
